Originally from Malaysia, Richard completed his secondary education at St Patrick's College, Wellington, and later graduated from Victoria University in with a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration.
Richard built an impressive international career spanning over two and a half decades across multiple multinational companies. From leadership roles with globally recognised brands to managing regional operations across Malaysia and Southeast Asia, he developed a strong foundation in sales strategy, negotiation, and client relationships. He led an operation for a New Zealand-based international company covering Malaysia and Singapore before returning to Wellington pre-Covid to be closer to family.
Before stepping into real estate, Richard was already actively involved in serving the community across northern suburb and the wider lower north island. His transition into real estate was a natural progression, driven by his desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives through property.
This diverse background has equipped Richard with exceptional skills in negotiation, communication, multilingual engagement, strategic thinking, and relationship management. More importantly, it has shaped his ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
